The exterior of the coach is in good condition. The coach appears to have never had any accident damage. All the lower fiberglass panels are nice with no evidence of any damage or repair. The aluminum shell and aluminum exterior skin are in nice condition with no hail damage. The coach has had one repaint. The exterior paint is in usable condition, however certainly not perfect by any measure. The passenger side windshield is foggy on the several edges, clear otherwise with no cracks. The driver’s side windshield is cracked. INCLUDED WITH THIS COACH IS A BRAND-NEW driver’s side windshield waiting to be installed by you the new owner. This new driver’s side windshield costs over $1,000 delivered if you had to purchase one yourself. There are 2 Zip Dee awnings on the coach. One on the driver’s and one on the passenger side of the coach. There is a factory storage container on the roof of the coach. INCLUDED with the coach are 6 new Red LED roof marker lights and 6 new Yellow LED roof marker lights that have not been installed. There is a Carrier Air V air conditioner on the roof. A spare tire, wheel and hard tire cover on are the rear of the coach. Front and rear bumpers are original. The coach door opens and closes properly with the original working door lock with key. All 6 tires are matching Linglong brand 225/75-16 tires in excellent condition mounted on Eagle brand Aluminum alloy wheels.

Mechanically the 455 Oldsmobile engine runs great and starts easily. The engine remains mostly stock with the addition of Doug Thorley Tri Y headers. The transmission shifts properly. The full under coach exhaust system is in excellent condition. The brakes are fair at best with upgrades stainless steel braided rear brake hoses. The rear single air bags have been replaced/upgraded in nice condition with exterior air fill valves if needed. The original air cleaner is present along with most everything else that is attached to the engine. The original engine cover is in nice condition. The original GMC air bag pump and controls are still present on the coach. There is a rear mounted receiver hitch on the coach. The vacuum windshield wipers work properly with the coach showing 18+ inches of vacuum on the gauge when running. The fuel gauge does not work properly. The tilt steering mechanism is tight. The speedometer and other gauges work properly. The factory Air Conditioning is complete however it does not blow cold. The factory SPID sticker is attached to the glove box door. The Onan 4K generator is complete and tries to start however I have not had it running. The generator controls show 615 hours on the Onan generator. All the holding tanks and discharges valves are complete, however I have not used any of them to determine how well work or if they work at all.

The interior of the coach is very original and in good condition. The dashboard is complete and not cracked like most are. All the gauges and controls are complete. The original leather front seats are complete and not torn or ripped. The front carpet in the front is in good condition. All the original Coachman solid wood cabinets are complete and in excellent condition. The original cooktop and refrigerator are complete. The original sofa is nice and includes the original table and other items underneath the sofa. The rear side seat/beds are in nice condition. The original wiring and breaker box are complete. All the original and Birchhaven unique wood trim around all the side windows is complete. The rear bathroom is complete with the original toilet, sink/cabinet and bathtub all in excellent condition. The rear bathroom heater is complete along with the original bathroom sliding door. The rear window Venetian blind is complete and in good condition. The cedar lined rear closet is complete. The rear headliner from the rear of the driver’s compartment back to the rear bathroom needs replaced.

Overall, this is very solid 1977 23-foot Birchaven 455 powered coach that needs some attention.
