Story:
This GMC Eleganza has a story that deserves to be shared.

We purchased it from an 80-year-old gentleman who was nearing the end of his life. More than anything, his wish was for it to go to someone who would truly love, appreciate, and care for it the way he had. He knew my dad owns an RV repair shop, and that gave him peace of mind knowing it would continue to be properly maintained and respected.

He owned this coach for over 15 years and absolutely cherished it. Alongside his wife, they made countless memories traveling to San Francisco and spending summers camping in Osoyoos, enjoying the mountains, the lakes, and the simple joy of the open road. He babied this motorhome, kept up with yearly maintenance, completed many thoughtful upgrades, and took exceptional pride in its care. During his ownership, numerous modern upgrades were added to improve comfort, reliability, and usability while still preserving the timeless character that makes the GMC Eleganza so special. Before him, it had belonged to an owner from Alberta, making him either the second or third owner.

Since owning it, my partner and I have enjoyed exploring the Okanagan together, taking it throughout Kelowna, Penticton, Osoyoos, and beyond. Everywhere we went, it turned heads. People would wave, stop to ask questions, or share their own memories of these iconic GMC motorhomes. We've also discovered what an incredible community surrounds these coaches—a group of passionate, supportive owners who genuinely love keeping these classics on the road.

The only reason we're selling is that our adventures have shifted toward off-road camping, and this beautiful coach was built for a different style of travel. It deserves to keep doing what it was made for: cruising scenic highways, camping by lakes, and creating unforgettable memories.

More than anything, we hope it finds another owner who will appreciate its history, continue to care for it, and keep its legacy alive for many years to come.

Selling a 1973 - 1978 GMC Motorhome?

This is one beautiful machine
I’ve put a ton of time, energy and funds into this machine, getting it to run very well,
That includes upgrading from a carburetor to an atomic fuel injection system with a vehicle starts right up every time.
Replaced the brake lines, replaced the brake brakes, six brand new tires, replaced the old Firestone airbags with quad top-of-the-line airbag system, replaced all the old fuel lines all the way to the tanks. New alternator, new AC compressor motor rebuilt, the engine. The thing now hardly has a drip underneath it. The only thing I didn’t get to is a full scale interior remodel, which was next on my list but I am at a slow period in my business and although I put in almost 50 grand into it, obviously I know I’ll never even get back a fraction of that but I think it’s well worth 15 grand for this awesome machine and it breaks my heart to let it go and I’d only let it go for the 15 grand. I’m currently working on some exterior touchups. Once I start

1978 GMC Royale

This Classic 1978 GMC Coach has been in our family over 30 years, and very loved. The most sought after (and costly) upgrades have already been made. Larger front disk brake conversion with new lines, upgraded Cummins Onan QG 5500 generator, Alcoa aluminum wheels. Fuel pump upgrade with freshly rebuilt carburetor. Starts easy, runs great. Goes down the road beautifully as it should, turn-key ready for its next adventure. Solid black walnut cupboards. Two overhead AC units (one with hot/cold), newer furnace, too much done to list everything. If serious, message for more details. Can be seen on Abbottsford Rd in Clyde MI (Ruby).
Im selling for my brother, so if I dont have the answers, he will. Call for info and to schedule a showing.

Hi all, Today I have a 1977 GMC 26' Kingsley Motorhome for sale. It is in Las Vegas NV. This unit was owned by Chuck Garton who was an aficionado on these units.
Chuck really loved this motorhome and knew everything about these {do a quick google search on Chuck Garton GMC and you will find some good information}. he also kept every manual, write-up, recall and also all of the logs on this unit. He upgraded everything mechanical, Wiring, sensors, monitors and installed and labeled everything. this motorhome includes all the manuals, wiring diagrams etc. Also, Chuck purchased multiples of all wearable parts for this Coach, and these will also go with the coach. there is a complete stock dash that will come with this unit in case the new owner would like to take it back to stock. This is a very solid running coach that only has a couple of thousand miles on a new 454 motor. it has 3 new Optima yellow top batteries {$400 a piece} there is so much that comes with this unit it is hard to list everything. It has the normal exterior sun damage as seen in the pictures, but everything works. it will need new carpeting, but the cabinetry is mostly original and in decent shape, Bathroom is in great shape. Bed in back is hydraulically operated for underbed storage {see pics.} front couch is the same so you can access the house battery. There is so much cool stuff on the coach. it has Alcola wheels all the way around, tires are good but will need to be replaced at some point in the future as they are 7 yrs old. Again, this is a GREAT coach that just needs some love and a bit of time. for those that want to view or want more information and pictures you can contact me through here. I'm asking $16,500 obo.... there are at least $10,000 in spare parts that are specific to this coach that go with the sale. this is for someone that knows and loves these units. please no tire kickers as I am helping the family to sell and I am not asking anything for my time.
